Bon Accord & St Nicholas is Aberdeen’s established prime retail destination, stretching right from Union Street up to George Street, it forms the retail heart of the city.
The centres boast the strongest retail mix in the city, featuring over 60 stores including two department stores – a 200,000 sq ft John Lewis and a 110,000 sq ft Marks & Spencer. The centre also contains the largest Next in Scotland, as well as a large number of established high street fashion retailers including New Look, Monsoon, Miss Selfridge, Republic, Hobbs, Kurt Geiger and H&M. Many of the stores are unique in the city and some are the only stores in Scotland leading Bon Accord and St Nicholas to be the most frequently shopped centres in the city.
With an £8 million refurbishment including new dining such as Café Rouge and Pret a Manger, complete by autumn 2011. Bon Accord & St Nicholas continues to be the dominant shopping destination in the North East of Scotland with their wide retail mix consistently attracting shoppers from the city and throughout the Aberdeenshire area.
The centres have an affluent catchment with a Comparison Goods spend of £836 million. 69% of the centres’ visitors are made up from the three most affluent ACORN categories with significantly higher levels of Wealthy Executives, Educated Urbanites and Prosperous Professionals than regional and national averages.
