Sunshine on Livingston

To mark Land Securities Environment Day on 1st June, Almondvale Shopping Centre encouraged its shoppers to spread a little sunshine on Livingston by planting a sunflower in an interactive ‘make and take’ workshop.

Over 500 seeds were planted by youngsters who were encouraged to donate any spare coins to Friends of The Earth charity and colour in environmental posters.

A mobile phone recycling initiative was also run in conjunction with Vodaphone to highlight the theme of the day.
